Usage Tracker

Support

The tracker runs locally in Chrome, Edge, and Firefox and requires a normal signed-in ChatGPT tab for live page integration and Codex allowance refreshes.

Quick checks

  1. Use Chrome/Edge 120+ or Firefox 142+ on desktop.
  2. Confirm the extension is enabled at chrome://extensions, edge://extensions, or about:addons.
  3. Open and sign in to https://chatgpt.com/.
  4. Reload the ChatGPT tab after installing or updating the extension.
  5. Open the popup and select refresh. Codex allowance information is account-dependent; local ChatGPT estimates work even when allowance data is unavailable.
  6. Open Settings & data to confirm In-page usage is enabled and choose the preferred sidebar position. Quota warnings and weekly-renewal notifications can be controlled independently.

Share useful diagnostics

Open Application logs in the extension popup and select Download logs. The export contains bounded diagnostic events, not prompts, replies, credentials, or raw identifiers. Review the file before sharing it.

Contact

Email 110kc3@gmail.com. Include the extension version, browser/version, operating system, what you expected, what happened, and any relevant privacy-safe diagnostic events.

Never send ChatGPT passwords, cookies, bearer tokens, private prompts, source code, or confidential screenshots in a support request.

Optional support

The extension is fully functional without a donation. Optional support helps fund compatibility testing and maintenance and never unlocks paid features.
